Re: Backup Address Book D95

Yes you can. CWIS, Properties, Services, Public Address Book, Map Existing Addressbook. Save the file. Use the same process to Import to the other D95. Passwords will not be Exported for Security reasons.

Re: Backup Address Book D95

Quite simply, the answer is You can't.

They will allow you only to export with heading only, or a sample one on these FX production units, they have always been this way as far as I know.

You cannot take a current address book off of the device. So you download the sample one(to know what needs to be filled in) or grab the headings only one and set it up. Save the file where you will always have it and upload it to devices as necessary. Just don't lose it.

Sorry, obviously not the answer you wanted. I'd tell you to call in and request a FER (Feature enhancement request) but I have done more than 20 for this option on the 4110 family, 4127 family and various other FX devices and none have come back with anything more than a "Possible in future product". The D95 would be that future device. and it didn't get it.
