Booklet folding adjustment Versant 80

Thank you! This is what we have been looking for!

It is the Booklet Maker Finisher.

Unfortunately our CEIG has been mislaid, I knew I had seen something regarding the full capabilities/limitations of the machine.  We have a copy of the User Guide but this does not have the full values and/or capabilities of the machine!

Hopefully this will help us along. for the time being

It depends on the finisher, but if it is the Booklet maker finisher (with or without C-Z fold) it will be the following

There is nothing that goes into the mixed media stuff, In my experience the job will limit itself closer to the amount of the heavier stock than the lighter. I actually print the above card and tape them to my finishers in the lab (I work for Xerox 2nd level) for quick reference.

Those are almost always contained in what used to be called the CEG (Customer Expectations Guide), and is now known as the CEIG (Customer Expectations and Installation Guide), and oddly, I cannot , for the life of me I can't find a Xerox link to it, but here is a copy on another server

Hi Wasnt sure where the right place to post this was, if it can be moved to the correct forum then please do so!

So I would just like to know if anyone can shed some light on limitations for the Versant 80 when it comes to folding AND stapling booklets? 

I understand the paper stock will effect how many sheets can be folded and stapled etc how well it folds, that you have set up the fold adjustment for a particular paper.

I was wondering if anyone has a quick reference guide to stocks vs. number of sheets that can be folded and stapled?

Adjusting booklet fold seems to be a very tedious job if there is more than 4 sheets to be folded and stapled I.e. adjustments dont always work, the variable booklet option comes back with countless /no can-dos' on the control panel etc.......I have printed out instructions for adjusting booklet fold and  followed instructions on the control panel - but they all seem very shallow in their info.

Any advice would be extremely well received!
