Fortunately I was able to find a solution on my own. Upgraded the machines software/firmware using:

AltaLink_C8045_55_Service Pack (R21-11)

Which brought us to version 103.002.031.32310

Obviously could not access the web admin panel to actually do the upgrade, found a method of updating via usb using altboot (that should be enough keywords for you to figure it out too). The upgrade itself took about an hour to complete, just let it do its thing. Afterwords I was able to get connected to the web admin panel and do what I needed to do.

I have a Xerox AltaLink C8045 MFP.

Attempting to access the web administration panel via edge/chrome/ie/firefox results in a 'connection refused' response from the machine. Attempted to connect via both http and https. Attempted to connect using telnet on port 80 and 443 also results in 'connection refused'. Tried connecting a laptop directly to the machine and still 'connection refused'.

In all scenarios I am able to ping the machine, and also printing to it over the network has no issues.

I need to access the web admin panel to update address books for network scanning.

Current firmware version is 103.002.000.06000

Can anyone please assist?
