today i bough a brand new printer model Phaser 3020 but i can't set up properly the wifi connection. I have a MacBook Air and i already download the print driver v1.06.00.
I can print via USB but i don't know how to connect my printer via wifi :/
Solved! Go to Solution.
When installing the printer, you can use the Xerox Easy Wireless Setup program to configure the wireless settings.
Disable WiFi Direct at the Control Panel
To Open the Program on Windows PC:
<I don't remember where it is in a Mac when installed from the disk, but I think it is called Wifi Setup Wizard and can be found via search>
Than you for your response.
I don't have a cd compartiment in my MacBook so i can't see the files in the set up disc. I only install the internet drivers provided by the "Drivers" section in the Xerox Page.
I was looking for some Wifi Setup Wizard but i can't find it in my laptop, also when i was intalling the drivers i didn't see the wifi configuration doing all the steps.
If that won't install in 10.15 there is nothing more I can offer.
If your router supports WPS, you can push that button on your router, once the light starts to blink on the router, do the same on the printer and they should connect.
Have you solved the problem? In case of a positive answer, could you please provide us with the information you've used? I have the same problem on my MAC.
Hello s.ssoffiias, yes this problem was solved.
In case you're struggling, please download this and follow the normal installation steps.
I configured my wifi without problems doing that and my printer is fully functional now.
