Hi mollyhandy,
Thank you for using the Support Forum. Please take a look at this soltuion for resetting the machine to factory defaults (NVRAM reset) from the support page for machine. I hope this helps, if not please consider contacting your support centre for further assistance.
I made a fatal error while testing some security settings I made to our Xerox Phaser 6300DN. I changed the printer from TCP/IP to DHCP/BOOTP using CenterWare IS and I lost connectivity. I need help finding a way to assign an IP to the printer using DHCP/BOOTP, manually, or by other means so I can get into CenterWare IS. I can't change it back to TCP/IP with the control panel because it was completely locked down by my organization when ordering from Xerox to where, I, even as an administrator, cannot unlock it or reset NVRAM, etc. We do not run DHCP on our network so there is no server to assign an IP. I tried managing it with a laptop but all I was able to do was install it on that laptop and I was not able to give it TCP/IP settings. I would be open to knowing how to factory reset the printer to where I might be able to get into the control panel and configure it that way. Thank you.
