It's a known issue and the cause is unknown, as far as I know it has never been 100% figured out.
It can happen in many scenarios, but does happen even if none of the scenarios match. Some of which are:
1. incompatible firmware (SHA-2 needed), grab the latest here
2. HTTPs not enabled (Or cert encrypt not good enough) See here
3. No connection to internet from the copier (Gateway/DNS/Firewall/Proxy)
Basically, check the network settings and update the firmware.
