Hello,

   Need to know the differences between CentreWare Web 4.6 and 5.2.  We have a government network certificate issued for version 4.6, but are wanting to upgrade to latest version (5.2) and need to post the upgrades.

That seemed to have unlocked the file that was in use. Thank you for the suggestion.

Hello KellyL,

 

 We haven't seen this issue before now, so I might be asking you some questions along the way to gather information.

 

The first thing we would like you to try, because it's the easiest, is to try and send the report again and if it fails, reset the Xerox Scheduler Service and send the report once again.  You can restart the service at your PC by clicking Start, then click Run and now type services.msc.  This should open the Services window.  The list of services should contain the Xerox Scheduler Service (near the bottom).  When you click on the Xerox Scheduler Service in the list you should then click Stop to stop the service.  Select the Xerox Scheduler Service again and this time click on Start.  That's all there is to restarting it.  After restarting the service try to send the report again.  Post back to this thread to let us know if that worked or not.

CentreWare Web V5.2.42 - Reporting Issue

I'm trying to build a Printer Asset Report in CWW, which is all set up correctly when I select the display button, it gives me the correct report output. However, when I try and send the report as a test, I get an error message stating "Unable to send e-mail. These report files are currently locked. This may be caused because this report is currently being sent. Please wait or otherwise close the report files and try again."

 

The report files, as far as I can tell, are not being used, and no reports are currently being sent. SMTP is enabled and function correctly on the admin side. I cannot find any information on this error. I'm at a loss of why the program thinks these files are locked.

 

Any insight on this would be appreciated.
