Hi sbmartin,
Thank you for using the Support Forum. Which browser are you using to open CentreWare Internet Services (CWIS)? If you are using Chrome try IE, Edge or FireFox and see if one of those will work. If that does not help make sure that your printer is on the latest firmware. Please consider contacting your support centre for further assistance.
Hello All. I am having a similar issue with a WC7225. When I modify the CentreWare E-Mail Alert settings to try and change it from my work e-mail address to a general inbox e-mail address that my team uses, it reverts back to my e-mail address for some reason. We have other WC7225s that I'm able to modify the e-mail alerts for in CWIS without any issues. Not sure why this one keeps reverting back to my e-mail address. Any suggestions? Thank you.
I have been using Firefox, IE, and Chrome and I have the same problem with each one. When I try to edit the printer properties, the screen size is so small, it is pretty much unusable. I couldn't find a way to resize it. I end up haiving to log into the actual printer web page to make any changes. Also, it would be really nice to add an email notification when a new printer has been discovered in the network.
There is not that I am aware of. Feel free to provide the information here and I will pass it along unofficially. A good idea is always going to be a good idea. For anything official you would need to call support and ask that a "FER" be created (Feature Enhancement Request). This would be done after reaching 2nd level support so you do need to have a support contract, and they would need all your contact details, configuration sheet for the device.
Thanks again.. Is there an email address to send suggestions? After using the product, I have noticed serveral features that could be greatly improved to help the end user.
Agreed, I will send that idea up to the Engineers, it is possible they could add that later I woul dthink, and it makes good sense.
Thanks.. It would be nice if you could set it to only send alerts Monday - Friday.
Change the 1 minute setting to 60. That way you won't get an email for anything that does not last one hour.
As set now you would essentially get an email every time a job fails for any reason, any time a tray needs paper etc etc.
I recently setup the CentreWare Web. I am having major issues when it comes to setting up the email alerts. It sends out about 50 emails. I have been messing around with the settings with no luck. I changed the threshold a few times with no luck. Is there any setting or way to have it send out only "one" email. Sorry in advance if this is a very rookie question
