Hi,
I am trying to install Centreware Web. (XeroxCentreWareWeb_CWW_v6.5.19) The install goes fine until the step where it needs to find a website. At that step I get the message "No web sites were found to be running. Make sure you have at least one running website under which to install the application". The drop down box for the website is empty. See screenshot below.
I have added IIS, checked that the local site to allow anonymous acess, added ASP.NET 2 and 4, set ASP.NET to allow all. I can browse to http://locahost OK.
I am now stumped. Any clues as to what is going on here? Thanks for ANY suggestions!
Windows Server 2016 x 64, SQL Server EXPRESS 2017. I have admin rights on the server, etc.

Seems I can't upload the image.
Hi Nigel,
Did you managed to resolve the issue, I'm getting the same issue.
I'm using 2019 server
Thanks
Mike
Hi Mike,
No, sorry - hoping for an answer once the break is over.
Cheers,
Nigel
Ah - just checking - you are not using SQL Server 2019?
It is not supported - but you would have got an error before the website step if so.
Hi
I got this error as well. I figured out I missed installing the IIS Management Compatibility Role components because they were separated on the next page of the Install Guide.
Make sure you have the following installed.
– IIS Management Compatibility
– IIS Metabase Compatibility
– IIS WMI Compatibility
– IIS Scripting Tools
– IIS Management Console
Installer detected the IIS default website after these components were installed.
Many thanks, J_K - that did the trick!
Thank you very much, J_K.
I have now finished the install.
Regards,
NigelH
I cannot seem to reply to J_K's post - keeps getting rejected - so I will reply to myself.
Thank you J_K, that worked and I have now finsihed the install.
Regards.
