Checking EIP Version for PaperCut Install

7970 is a Connectkey product, All Connectkey products are currently EIP 3.5 if their firmware is up to date.

071 firmware was 2.5

072 firmware was 3.0

073 firmware is 3.5

073.200.075.34540 is far from up to date though, it is just the last General release, the current latest is here.

Versalink printers are all EIP 3.7 and Altalink is 4.0 (As of todays date)

Did you read this ? I think what you really need to look at is the Extendable Service Setup.

Hi,

We have 2 Xerox Workcentre 7970i Machines that are due to have Papercut installed on them next week. However, I have been told to check that they are running at least EIP V1.5. I've had a look on Centreware under extensible services, and to be honest, I'm not sure what I am looking at.

Here is what I see -

Browser/Widget Versions

First Generation Browser: 2.1.19.12.010.3.0.00 
Widget Version: v1.3.17 c8 20140613 

Second Generation Browser: X2G_4.8.4_534.34_010_01.01.00 
Widget Version: v1.3.17 c8 20140613

Firmware on the machines is up to date - 073.200.075.34540

Can anyone advise/help me as to figuring out the version, and if out of date, how I would go about upgrading.
