Is anyone else receiving a backorder message for the Color Drum Cartridge 13R676?
This is for the Versant 80 / Versant 2100 / Versant 3100
I'm sure there is a logical reason for the delay, but does anyone know when they will be available?
Going to get urgent real quick....
Solved! Go to Solution.
Call supplies to find out.
If you have a good relationship with a Xerox tech, they can sometimes source supplies from other customers on loan, (Company A needs a toner, Company B has a bunch and won't need one soon, Tech borrows from B and loans to A, then A gets a new one and tech brings it to company B, and in the future, you may be called upon to help them or another company)
Thanks for the suggested work around. I've been in discussions with my local tech and he is having a hard time locating any.
I was hoping someone from Xerox might be able to share when the solution is coming, and shipping will resume.
I would not expect an answer here, at least not a specific one.
Let me (Not Xerox) explain via scenarios:
Let's pretend I knew for a fact they expected to have the issue resolved on X date. (I assure you I don't)
And then posted here that you will be able to get/order it on that day.
Then a week before that day a warehouse burns down, a truck flips over, a flood occurs or any one of a thousand things happen to delay it another hour/day/week/month.
Xerox then has a pile of angry people (Remember, this webpage is globally accessible) calling to state they were promised by some guy named Joe on the internet that they could get them today and demand to be compensated, nobody (Xerox or customer) is happy.
Or, everything goes well and the parts are there when stated at the office in X place in X country, because it was stated on the internet to be fixed on a specific day, Customer Z in Country Y expects the date to apply o them, even though logistically it can't, the 2 countries are thousands of miles separated.
Or Xerox just gets flooded with calls, the Customers on hold are angry, the Supplies chain people for Xerox can't catch up with the 8x the usual amount of calls coming in and the whole system crashes, Customers swearing, employees crying in the bathroom and nobody is happy
And in the end, Joe loses his job for causing the whole problem by answering a post on the internet.
There was a bad batch of those drums. The backups I had on the shelf fell into the October 2018 - January 2019 manufacturing date. They all went straight into our Eco Box for return. No luck here getting any drums to replace them.
