That is not my issue. My problem is when I load paper in the tray I want to be able to program the color or type of paper. This model does not give the ability to make the high cap feeder an adjustable paper tray for some reason. Can anybody explain if this is possible.

Hi JET,

Thank you for using the Support Forum. Please take a look at this solution for enabling Installable options on the machine. Once you have enabled the High Cap feeder then the options should not be gray. If this does not help you please consider contacting your support centre for further assistance.

Any body know a way to make it possible to make the high cap feeder adjustable? Have the need to program color or type of paper on the fly without going into the admin mode. The icon is grayed out in the tray settings. My desire would be that when the tray is opened and closed it would act the same as trays 1 and tray 2.
