Thank you for the reply, much appreciated. That would make sense given the behavior. Also, this is my first time using the xerox forums and I gotta say I’m more than just satisfied with how quickly I was able to get an answer. Quick googling shows this part is over $100 from eBay so not worth the repair to a printer this old

Also, it has error 016-612 invalid mac address on the printers screen

Hi, thanks for the reply but I've already tried using the upgrade app and it never finishes. It will stay on the upgrading first step forever. I tried using the usb option as well and the same result. Is there a way to firce the upload on this unit?

Hi,

6605 does not have .DLM file, it have .prn extension. The firmware upgrade is done trough Xeroxfwup.exe and you can dowload from here.

Hi, where can I download the DLM file for a Workcenter 6605 so I can use the force Altboot method? I know the .exe file will download from support or drivers but I need the .DLM file. 

I've searched for hours and nothing so any help would be great
