That was due to a Windows update, it should have been fixed long ago (A month)
Hello wsmather.

Used Xerox Smart Start driver installer from this location:
The driver installed itself to "unspecified category." Cannot access any right-click menu options for the driver. Yet the printer seems to work.
Back when the printer was first purchased and connected, the printer was recognized and a driver installed automatically via a Windows WSD (web services for devices). But for the past month each time the computer was booted up it showed the printer as off line, and had to be powered off and on again (via unplugging and replugging) before it would print.
I deleted that driver, and used the Xerox Smart Start driver installer to install the correct, more specific driver instead.
The test print went fine, with the new driver listed as the default printer. And yet.... the driver is in an unspecified category, and can't be accessed for any right-click menu options.
This is a concern. Can someone help?
Thank you.
