What "sort" of Xerox rep couldn't fix it?
I mean if its your sales rep, I would understand, but if its your hardware tech, they have their own support line to talk/walk them through fixing the clearly physical problem. It isn't an enablement issue, the Finisher is broken. And even if Sales, walking away seems odd if they did not place a service call or prompt you to do so...
And the error code doesn't stop you from seeing other codes at all. It shows 6 at a time then gets a scroll bar to cyle through when there are more. And supply codes are in a totally different area (Supplies tab, not Active Messages)
Our machine constantly gives us the 10-702-00 error which states "Output tray offsetting unavailable. Power off then on." We do this and it goes away...until we print something and it comes back. I cannot figure out what setting is enable that is cause this to happen. I have had a xerox representative look at it and they were unable to do anything about it either.
It doesn't seem to be impacting what we print, but this error code prevents me from seeing any other error codes about low supplies and replacement parts which would be way more helpful.
