Re: Fault 101-312 USB Card reader issue

Please at least try reading the install instructions and then reference exactly where your setup differs from the very detailed instructions

Re: Fault 101-312 USB Card reader issue

Thank you.
However, I am looking on the Primelink web page to set properties, and do not see [Authentication/Counting Management] > [Authentication/Counting Operation].  Where can I locate this setting?

Thanks!

Re: Fault 101-312 USB Card reader issue

121-312 IC Card Auditron Config Fail 02
Control Fail. When the power is turned On, an error occurred due to the combination of setting
that is not permitted.
• EP-related products other than IC Card Gate is connected (set), or IC Card Gate and
other EP-related products are connected (set) together.
• [Authentication/Counting Management] > [Authentication/Counting Operation] is set to
[External Authentication/Counting].
Procedure
Actions to be taken are as follows:
1. Activate without connecting EP-related product, and set [Authentication/Counting Management]
> [Authentication/Counting Operation] to other than [External Authentication/
Counting].
2. Attach the optional external authentication kit for IC card, and set the single connection of
IC Card Gate of EP-related product

Being a FujiXerox product, it may need plugins to work, there certainly are plugins on the downloads page for it

Fault 101-312 USB Card reader issue

Product Name: Other - specify product in post
Operating System: Windows 10

I am using a USB card reader, and plugged into the MFD prior to turning on.  When I turned the device on, I received the error screen attached.  I was unable to get around the screen, and ended up having to clear the NVM to get the MFD to completely turn on.
I use these card readers with AltaLink and Workcentre machines; however, this is the first time I have tried with a Primelink.

Has anyone had this problem?  Also, is there are particular card reader that is required?  I am using a pc Prox.

Thanks
