It is a part inside the scanner under the platen glass, on the right side and under a metal cover.

Realy realy sorry... but is a known issue of a broken CCD assy.

I am not skilled in a technical capacity to do that and I cannot find a technician between Portland and Seattle that is certified to perform any work on this model.

Next step... replace the CCD assy.

Correct and trying to reset the cables did not work.

And this fault code will let you print, just not let to do a copy or scan job.

Hi,

This code is from IIT (scanner) and in most cases was needed to  be replaced the CCD Lens Assembly (604K21503), or the scanner board (IIT PWB).

But, first try to reseat machine cables ( ex. from scanner to machine)

Fault Error 062-380 and Cannot Find Technician to Work on this Model

We have a printer/copier that no longer has a service agreement and my company  cannot renew with the technicians we had our last agreement with.  However, I cannot find anyone that is certified in this model. The fault code refers to a lens error or failed sensor. A local tech told me that code could be the print head and if it is, it can cost up to a third of the cost of the machine.  I do not think it is the print head because we can send jobs to the machine but that is ALL we can do. The copy button is grayed out. 

Any suggestions or know of any techs in the Pacifc Northwest that can servcie this model?
