Hello so i have this problem. I am looking for installation CDs for Fiery x12 version 1.1 can anyone help? please
Are the cables from the fiery to the copier hooked up right?
It could be a bad interface board on the copier of fiery side. These are the boards that the cables plug into.
Good question - no I'm not able to print Test page. Light on controller flashs a few times but nothing prints. Error ""network controller error" on DC 12 LCD screen.

forget about printing from a pc for now. First make sure it can print internal fiery prints like a config page from the fiery buttons on the fiery lcd.
OK, this is where I'm at now....
- restored Fiery X12
- "network controller error" on DocuColor 12
- installed CWS v5 on Win XP (XP mode on Win 7) and can connect to Fiery X12
- have 1-56cts patch to hopefully fix "network controller error"
- PS printer install using EX12 WinXp print driver
- sent PS file to printer (import into CWS and print) but have error - see below
- test page from PS printer not printing - see below
Am I wasting my time or can I get this working ? What am I'm missing ??
Yep but its all we have at the moment and orders building up...
Getting a "network controller error" on the DocColour 12. Told need to install 1-56ps patch.
Can ping the Fiery from a MAC and Win 7. Have CWS v5 install on the Win 7, imported the patch in CWS and tried to print but getting an error.
Don't know will I be able to do anything from the win 7 or where to go from here. Do I need a print driver add it as a printer on the Win 7.

Wow thats almost pre WWII
The bustled fiery was a dccs50.
Its good that you got it to go to idle. If its hooked up to the dc12 properly it should print a config sheet.
Hi Joe,
Followed these instructions before but now getting "network controller error". Looked at other forums and fix seems to be 1-56cts patch installed via CWS.
When I did a restore to fix the original problem I was breifely in the NT OS before it rebooted. See attached.
Not sure where to go next

That is just a Fiery that has no FACI kit, so you can't get to Windows.
FACI was EFI's way of making you pay to have a keyboard, monitor and mouse supported on a Fiery.
To set the IP address you need to use the buttons on the sides of the little LCD screen. No idea what menu's there are, it's been 10 years since I have seen one. But this is what the Xerox Support site states:
NOTE: Unless otherwise indicated, the function of the four buttons to the right of the Fiery Server LCD changes with the different menus. The function will be displayed to the left of the button, on the LCD. The Menu button location on the Fiery Server Control Panel varies by the model. The Menu button is either located under or to the left of the LCD. It is a small, round button in the middle of a group of three buttons. The up and down arrow buttons are located above and below, the Menu button.
Thanks again Joe,
But I would still need to connect to the printer - other than the Fiery, the "youngest" PC I have is a Win 7 laptop. I have CWS on the NT if I can get into it.
See attached where I'm at...
