Re: Firmware download links offline

Hi, I have the same problem. The company seems to ignore this problem, or it is refusing to give bride firmware packages for a reason. You can guess. We need to get it from alternative storage.

Firmware download links offline

Product Name: VersaLink B405 Multifunction Printer
Operating System: Windows 10 x64

My printer (versalink b405) failed to retrive the firmware from the server so I tried downloading it to the PC but the files aren't reachable.

So, from the recent service pack:

https://www.support.xerox.com/en-us/product/versalink-b405/content/151392

You get the pdf and the links to the bridge firmware ( which I also need and is also unavailable ) as well as the new service pack:

https://download.support.xerox.com/pub/drivers/VLB405/SPs/win10/ar/VLB405_PL7-R4.pdf

https://download.support.xerox.com/pub/drivers/VLB405/firmware/win10/en_GB/385901_VL_B405.zip

https://download.support.xerox.com/pub/drivers/VLB405/SPs/win10/en_GB/386611_VL_B405_E.zip

However, none of the links works.

I suspect this problem has been around for quite some time since my printer clearly hasn't been able to pull updates for around a year despite being configured to pull once-a-week and doing as much successfully a few times.

I tested the connectivity on both the coporate VPN, my mobile data plan and my home network, all have different external IPs, and no luck. I tested other files from my own and other printers and they seem to work so I'm assuming it's just those files that are missing / incorrectly setup with the wrong premissions/names/whatever.

Also, it might still be a regional redirection issue since I'm in Israel.

Thanks.
