Our MFP 6180 is used for recieving faxes, lately the toner usage has been out of control. We started to keep track of number of pages between cartriges and a high capacity black original Xerox cartridge is getting between 450 to 550 pages. These are faxes between our offices and are very simple sales orders without alot of type. All colors are being used, this is not just a black issue.
Could there be a part that needs replacing or any other thoughts on this would be helpful. Can't find a draft or toner save mode for this unit. However, it used to be reasonable for the amount of toner going through it and we hate to throw it away if there could be a fix.
