How much capacity UPS should I use for AltaLink C8035

Product Name: AltaLink C8030 / C8035 / C8045 / C8055 / C8070 Color Multifunction Printer

I am confused about how much power (watt) does AltaLink C8035 needs to operate. In the datasheet, it says it consumes about 700 watts while in operation. But technician from our local Xerox partner says it can consume up to 2000 to 2600 watts when starting and suggested us to get a UPS of 3KVA. However, our electrician contradicts that this machine should not use that much power.

I am now confused about what capacity UPS to buy. I don't want to buy way more powerful UPS than I need.

Any suggestion is much appreciated.
