Thank You Gabi that seems to have worked and I printed a test print.

Or this one.
After Add Printer, choose Add a Printer using TCP/IP, next set the printer IP, select Next, select Have Disk and browse the location where you downloaded the unziped driver.

Thank You for your reply Gabi. I am not so good at technical side of IT. I looked on the Xerox support page for Phaser 7500
https://www.support.xerox.com/support/phaser-7500/downloads/enus.html?operatingSystem=win7x64
and found UNIV_5.703.12.0_PS_x64_Driver.inf I am guessing this is the driver you are recommending.?
If I use the Add a Printer feature of win 7 and select Have a Driver and point it to this that should do the trick?
Would you recommend any additional drivers to install as well as the PS driver?
Thanks again.
Al
Hi,
I will recommend you PS driver and to correctly setup the driver (paper settings A4 or 8,5/11, what ever you use).

Dear Forum,
I have just purchased a second hand working Phaser 7500 printer. I have printed a "Printer Status" page and a "Language of Colour" demo page from the display menu and they look brilliant. I have been trying to install it to use it with my laptop. Windows 7 (64 bit). Does anyone know exactly which driver I should be using please and if I need to use other drivers in order to use it with my laptop via a USB printer cable. So far I downloded and installed "7500_PPD_Driver_x64_en-US" which didn't work. After installation was completed I requested a test print but it did not print. When I looked at the printer properties - See what's printing it just shows "error printing" but not muchelse in terms of why it didn't print. I tried to print from MS Word and that too did not print.
Can anyone help me with the steps I need to complete to get this amazing machine to work please?
Many Thanks,
Al
