Re: How to set Ciosk Mode to application?

I was able to set my application as a starter. However, firstly, by pressing the Home button, I go to the native printer interface (menu with buttons). This is what I would like to avoid. I know where the settings for this page are located, but none of the settings allow you to ignore the start page. That is, I want the native menu with buttons to be displayed immediately after waking up the printer (in my case, just my EIP application). Please tell me how to implement this

@stanislav-1987 Pleased to see your question as I think I have the same question.

Re: How to set Ciosk Mode to application?

Hi, MaryParker745! Thanks for trying to help. But I can not find Device Profiles & Policies. It seems this section simply does not exist. If you know, then tell me how to find Device Profiles & Policies from the main menu in the web interface. Pay attention to the screenshots of the menu of my device.SystemSystemdefault and policiesdefault and policies

Re: How to set Ciosk Mode to application?

  1. Navigate to Device Profiles & Policies > Device Profiles and Edit an existing Device Profile or Create a new Windows Profile.
  2. Click on the Settings > Ciosk App section to see the Ciosk app settings.
  3. Depending upon the application that you want to set as a Ciosk app, follow the sections below. Once you have selected an option based on the sections below, proceed to step 4

Re: How to set Ciosk Mode to application?

Hey! Thanks for the answer! However, I cannot find the Settings button. Not in the web interface, not in the printer. My VersaLink C7020 firmware version is 1.57.5 from 2020. Could this be firmware related?
This is what the home screen looks like. I did not find the Kiosk Mode function anywhere in the submenu.7.png

Re: How to set Ciosk Mode to application?

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Click on Accounts.
  3. Click on Family & other users.
  4. Under "Set up a kiosk," click the Assigned access button.
  5. Click the Get started button.
  6. Type a short, but descriptive name for the kiosk account.
  7. Click the Next button.
  8. Select a Microsoft Store app from the list.

How to set Ciosk Mode to application?

Product Name: VersaLink C7020/C7025/C7030 Multifunction Printer
Operating System: Windows 10 x64

Hi!
I'm deviloping application via EIP Software Developers Kit. And I can see the button on device display (after registered the sample application on the MFD via RegClient). But how can I launch the application on top of all other buttons? So that it starts when I unlock the screen. For example, for HP and Konika, this mode is called Ciosk Mode.
Thanks
