We're also having this issue and the printer has been fine for the past two times the imaging units were replaced. Did have to reset one that handles black a few times because the guide wasn't getting the unit into the correct slot, but we fixed it by hand. We did the manual fix with the printer off which may have confused it. We have turned it on and then reseated all the imaging units.
All were at end of life and they all still say that, but all reflect today's date.
I guess we'll just let it sit a bit turned on and see what happens.
I'm having the same problem and it isn't fixing itself. Did anyone ever get an answer as to how to reset? At this rate, I will never know when the new Imaging Unit is near the end of its life.
Thanks!
I have seen this model do similar odd things like what you described. Usually it was due to outdated firmware or some inexplicable cause that "fixed itself". Replica Watches Rolex Replica Watches Swiss Replica Watches Replica Watches
Update: Okay, it decided to work again.
No idea what caused it to not see the new imaging unit at first or why it now decided to. But it is now working.

Just realized that I left out some key information.
Printer is:
Xerox Phaser 7760
Firmware:
OS 6.1 / PS 5.2.1 / Eng 3.2.2
I am having a similar issue.
I just replaced Imaging Unit #4, in the supplies info show the correct replacement date as today. But the error message still shows that it is nearing end of life. How can I reset this and what can I do to prevent this from happening again?
Thank you,
-John
We have a Phaser 7760dn. I just replaced all 4 imaging units because they were all at end of life. The end of life message went away on 1,3 and 4. But it is still showing "Nearing of of life Imaging Unit 2". The supplies page shows the correct date of replacement, but still get the message. Is there anyway to reset that message on Imaging Unit 2?
Thanks.
