Re: Import Address Book 5150

Hope it is not too late for this post.

Hi, you could try creating your address book with the old Xerox Address Book Manager. Follow the link to download it.

Once installed, open it and choose to create a address book from scratch. You will need to choose the WC56xx Family to make it work.

But if at last it does'nt work, there is maybe corruption inside the machine. If the Reset Software didn't work, you will need to place a service call for a technician to reinstall the software.

Hope you success!

K.

Import Address Book 5150

Product Name: Other - specify product in post

Hello, I am attempting to import an address book to the copier. What I have done so far was create a single email address, then exported that from the 5150 so that I would see the exact format the copier is using. I then pasted in all my names and email addresses in that same file. I saved it, ensuring that the extension was in a .csv format.

The problem is that the 5150 will not inport this file. I get a message that states,

Invalid Address Book File Detected,

File was not imported.

Address Book File must be in a comma separated value foremat (.csv)

What could be my issue.
