Re: Importing Passwords to Centreware Web

I finally got CWW to accept the csv by playing with the formatting like Cheryl says. It will not however accept special characters. Work orders to GDO have been ignored as far as I can tell. The only other alternative is to go into the security properties of each and every printer after discovery and save the password there. Once that's done, you can manage your printers.

Re: Importing Passwords to Centreware Web

Hi ajmhowser,

Thank you for using the Support Forum. You could try changing the format to Unicode. In order to support the widest range of characters, across multiple character sets and languages, .CSV files being imported need to be saved in Unicode format. Also make sure you have the latest version of the software.  If this does not help please consider contacting your support centre for further assistance.

Thanks,

Importing Passwords to Centreware Web

Product Name: CentreWare Web
Operating System: Windows 10 x64

I get this error when trying to import my file. I used the exported template and tried 3 different versions of a CSV file. None of which worked. I do not know what else to do.
