Can you describe more how you were able get better logging? You said you got what to stop blocking? The log files are so hard to interpret we've no idea what is going wrong with the installation.

I got that error once upon a time too. In my case, the intrusion prevention software was blocking the install.

Also, the ReadMe that comes with the install is terrible and doesn't list all of the components you have to install. Luckily, once you get your AV/IPS to stop blocking it, you'll see a loooong string of error messages detailing what needs to be installed from Server Manger.

Hello,

Does Xerox respond to this Forum? I am having the same issue with my install. I have searched through the online knowledge base and there is no resolution there. Was this resolved and how?

Install error

Product Name: Other - specify product in post
Operating System: Windows Server 2012 x64

Installing CWW 6.0.7 on Server 2012 and connecting to SQL 2014 and get this: 

Internal error 52768. The installation failed and will now roll back. Error:InstallComPlusComponents[Exception]:RegComPlus(trapped error): XRegComPlusNT.exe ExitCode = 1

Any suggestions?
