Did you figured it out? I am having the same problem with the ...x86_64.rpm. It installs with no errors. However when I run xeroxprtmgr from the terminal like I used to do with the previous type of printer, instead of getting the print queues windows to configure the printer. I get some executables which in turn only open a fax related window. Any help will be appreciated!
Page 162 does not resolve this problem, the listed driver packages for the C8045 are missing the corresponding .ppd file.

Good Afternoon, I downloaded the "Driver Intel Linux .DEB x86_64" from the site.
'dpkg -i' reports no error.
Could you provide more information on how to use/setup the printer?
Usually I add the printer from cups web interface and I expected to find the altalink c8045 driver but there isn't.
I noticed the package do not contains only a driver but a whole set of application installed in /opt.
I see there are executable file but I have no idea how to use them.
In the documentation page I find nothing about Linux setup.
Thank you.
