is it possible you are sending a PDF that has been designed as an odd sized page?  if so unckeck the "choose paper source by PDF page size" on the front print screen. you should then be able to select fit to page size and print on regular paper.

on some devices you can enable substitution... but i dont know if its going to help.

what type of device do you have?

Is there a workaround at the machine when a document is sent that for some reason is 8.5 X 11.3 or some other odd dimension.  I never encountered this issue with my canon equipement but the xerox is insistant that the exact paper be loaded.  Is there a way to force the print job out on say 8.5 x 14?
