Manipulated meter reading?

Product Name: WorkCentre 7220/7225

Hello,

I have bought a used WC7225.
Now I am a little skeptical about the meter reading.

The total counter is at about 26500 pages.

Now I come to the values that make me a little doubt:

fuser unit: remaining 1973260 (!) pages - actually only 100k
Secondary transfer roller: remaining 173260 pages - designed for 200k - so that's about right.
Transfer belt: Remainder also 173260 pages - also designed for 200k pages.

Well, the values of the consumables can be overwritten in the CSE, so I wonder why you should take such utopian values for the fuser unit? Does the printer calculate something in the background based on the coverage that such values arise? If I want to adjust the value in the CSE itself, it is suggested to me even 2000000 as a value.

Visually, the device actually looks quite good, only on the left housing where the fuser unit is located, the ventilation slots are slightly yellowed, but that should come from the heat.

Can you, or how complex is it to manipulate the total counter? Would it even be worth it, and are there any features that indicate that it has been tampered with? Otherwise, there are no noticeable problems with the device, except that all printouts are shifted about 3-4mm (lead edge).

Thank you for answering my questions.
