Has anyone managed to pass a photo from their phone to the nfc sensor?

I was sent this from Xerox which enabled the icon on the device but have still not been able to pass a photo from my android device to the printer via NFC.

I am thinking that this will never happen. When I touch my phone against the printer I get passed an NFC tag which is a link to the xerox website :(

I am pretty sure the phone NFC is working properly.
I am also puzzled by the fact that I cannot see the light of NFC area under the screen on the printer (it should be on the left of the "home" button)...
Must be some settings I am not aware of...

If the Android phone does nothing when you tap its chip to the NFC chip, are you certain that the phones NFC ability is enabled? Have you just slid the phone around the sensor to be sure it is not just an alignment issue (NFC creates a connection within 10 cm, that does not mean it will initialize a connection that far, it just maintains one, else someone could read your bank card through your pants/wallet/seat in theory.)

Most non-Nexus Android devices show the NFC logo when they are enabled. My Samsung/Sony and LG phones all do

And of course Apple, as of now, still doesn't allow NFC for non-Apple purposes, although that may change, in which case Xerox will probably develop for it.

Unfortunately, I have already done that, but it does not change anything... the NFC appears to be activated, but does not work, not even the light on the NFC area is working... if nobody can help me here (I though there could be a solution here), I will consider contacting official support.

I cannot access the link with the directions for NFC set up in WC 6515.

Could you help me? I have a new 6515, but I cannot seam to have NFC. Moreover, the light of the NFC area does not show...

Hello, I install the xerox print service plugin on my phone (S8).

I followed the setting instructions for the printer.

message says: "CAN NOT FIND YOUR PRINTER VIA NFC"

You still need to at least have the Xerox Print Service plugin

As for the 6515, directions to setup are available here
