Re: New upgrades

From what I understand, it's a manditory upgrade at no cost to exsisting Iridesse presses.  We've already had to send a job out to a friendly printer with an iGen4 to run a 26" job that duplexes and our Ricoh machine can't register front to back consistantly on.  I had CSEs here working on getting my creaser/trimmer squared up on Monday, and we were talking about the upgrade, but they had no idea on exactly how it's supposed to play out. I know that if we want the feed and delivery aids, we'll have to purchase those, but the long paper is a no charge upgrade built into the Iridesse from day one.

Hi,

From what I know it is an upgrade.

New upgrades

Product Name: Xerox Iridesse Production Press
Operating System: Windows 10 x64

Does anyone have an idea how the large paper option is going to be rolled out to exsisting Iridesse presses?  Is there going to be an automatic update to press software to allow paper over 19 inches or do we have to wait for a CSE to install the upgrade.
