Re: Open type fonts

Jump to solution

Hello Detlef,

There are a number of free online services that will convert your fonts from OpenType to TrueType. Just do a search for "Free Online Font Converter"

You might want to do a couple of test prints after loading them to verufy that they are rendering correctly.

Re: Open type fonts

Hello Detlef,

The 8560 does not support Open Type Fonts.  Only PostScript, PCL, and True Type fonts are supported.  I do not know why Open Type Fonts are not supported - I'm sorry.  There is no workaround.

Open type fonts

Product Name: Other - specify product in post

I was trying to download some fonts to the printer (8560) and the font management utility keeps telleing me that open type fonts are not supported.

Is there a particular reason for this?

Is there a way around this?
