Phaser 3100 MFP resetting

Change it when it runs empty,not at exactly 4000 impressions, the chip is in the cartridge, not seperate.

Hi, I just bought a secondhand xerox phaser 3100 MFP machine and my printing page will soon reach to 4000pg.

In case it will reached to 4000 printed page how do I reset it? Do i need to buy a reset chip or just buy only the ink cartridge and it will automatically reset by itself? Thanks in advance for your comments.
