Phaser 4400DT menu items locked

Hi

I finally managed to install CentreWare Web and talk to the printer.  I have been through every option and there is no option for me to unlock the printers menus!

I am using CentreWare Web v5.12.14.  I have tried the USB port and it appears to disabled but again no option to enable it.

Any help appreciated.

This is all the info about the DIP switches

Set the switch SW4 to Closed to reset the IP board.

Thanks again for the reply I found this option when I first started looking into reseting the printer but this menu option is locked!

I have tried to install CentreWare Web on 3 pc's with various settings and it just doesn't work.

I can see their are dip switches can these be used to do a factory reset?

It took me awhile to find, but this should solve the problem :smileyhappy:

Resetting the NVRAM (factory defaults)

    From the front panel, scroll to Menus using the Up Arrow or Down Arrow key and press the OK key.

    Scroll to the Support Menu and press the OK key.

    Scroll to Service Tools Menu and press the OK key.

    Scroll to Reset NVRAM and press the OK key.

    Highlight Reset NVRAM and Reset Printer NOW and press the OK key.

    Scroll to Exit and press the OK key

Use this
To enter or exit protected mode, use CentreWare IS software:
1. From your printers Internet Services home page, click Properties
2. On the left side of the Properties page in CentreWare IS, click General and then click Printer Defaults
3. If desired, change the setting for Front Panel Menus (under User Preferences on the Printer Defaults page).

Select On to have all menus available.

Select Off to lock all menu items that change printer setup values.
4. Click Save Changes on the bottom of the page.

Hi

Our company just purchased a Phaser 4400DT from bankrupt stock and I am trying to configure it for our network, as previoulsy has been configured for a different IP range, but a lot of the menus say they are locked.

How can I unlock these menu options.  I have tried to install the web software but won't install for some reason.

Is there any way to perform a factory reset without the web software?

Any help much appreciated.
