Our phaser displays controller communication error code 117-313 restart on the panel. Our imagesource technician has swapped out the MFP 6180 with a different 6180 printer that came from another office but we experienced the exact same error code again immediately which was strange. I knew the replacement printer was a good known printer. Whenever we unplug the network patch cable and try restarting the printer then connecting the same printer to a peer to peer network, the problem goes away and print jobs come out just fine. Is this error code a generic code for an incompatible network device?
