I now have an 8860. It works very well and the color prints look very good.
But how long will they last?
The high end ink jet printers discuss longevity, based on the inks, the papers, and the sun.
The high end Epsons say 200 years assuming proper paper and placed behind glass.
I once asked a very pleasant person at Xerox and he called me back and said that Xerox had never done these tests because there were so many possible papers compared to the limited papers for high end ink jets.
