It has been a week now, and no staff members have complained about having issues with the printer. Looks like this is the official solution!

Hi Sandyp,
Followed the instructions you linked to and it worked! it was set to auto select, i changed it to one of the trays containing 8.5x11. I then printed a report and it came out on 8.5x11. I am a little concered about how this may effect staff members who print to this printer however. I will leave the setting how it is currently and see if anyone runs into problems while attempting to print to it. I will leave another post in a week or two to let anyone reading this know if it has any side effects.

Hello Everyone,
I have a xerox Phaser 7760GX. Every morning i must print off a usage profile report from the printer to keep with our records. The problem i have is that it uses the 11x17 instead of 8.5x11. I have searched online and could not find a way to change the paper source for the reports or the paper size. If anyone knows how to do this i would apreciate the help.
