As stated above, update the firmware.

Java isn't needed, that was just in older AltaLink and Connectkey models, everything current runs in HTML5.

Hi,

The VersaLink family have the Remote Control Panel from firmware xx.42.01. So check your machine firmware and if is not up to date upgrade it from:

https://www.support.xerox.com/support/workcentre-6515/file-download/enca.html?operatingSystem=win10x...

After upgrading log in as Admin and go to the Quick Links on the Home page and select the [Remote Control Panel].

Remote control panel setup

Jump to solution
Product Name: WorkCentre 6515
Operating System: Windows 10 x64

Hi there,

I am currently trying to configure remote control panel on a WorkCentre 6515.

So far I have:

  1. Enabled HTTPS using a self-signed certificate
  2. Updated my Java and added the printer's IP to java exceptions
  3. Accessed the web interface from both Edge and Internet Explorer as administrator.

However, I am struggling to get any further as I do not see the remote control option under quick links. Is there something I have missed?

Many thanks for your help.
