Repair service for private citizens?

I own a Workcentre 6015 in our home that needs repair. Every place I call in the Seattle area seems to be set up for purely business support- they want to do a credit check and set up some kind of elaborate billing. Has anyone figured out a place that I can just take my printer to and have them look at it for cash? Is there anyway to filter that kind of service on this website?
