What you have listed below is correct, the only thing I could find that is different is that you don't need to hold down the # key. If trying that doens't work I would suggest that you call in the the support department for technical assistance.

We have been trying to get the password reset on 3 new installs at a customer site
The combination of "menu , then hold " # " then enter "1934" then hit "start" is not working or we do not know the timings and the EDOC is not helping and nothing in searchlight
Can anyone chime in who has accessed the serivice mode please and knows the timings of the key entries
