After maybe a week and trying what all you guys have suggested as well as my own experience, I have it finally working.
The most recent of my activities was to Device Mgr, uninstall the printer like I have done so many times with this problem.
This time I chose the 'Older printer' option and it found the ColorQube 8570DN. It installed the 8570/8870 Class driver and the printer worked.
I had chosen every other option like I always did and assumed the Older printer was to be a really old one, not a 2017 one!
Anyway, it looks like I am now able to get back to earning a few crumbs again !

Thank you for using the Support Forum. Let's try some basics, are you able to ping the printer? If it pings successfully then remove the driver from the pc, reboot the pc and power off the printer. Once the PC is back up turn the printer back on and re install the printer with the instructions provided by Joe. If this does not help please consider contacting your support centre for further assistance.
I am still stuck without a printer!
I have 2 x Xerox 6250, Cube 8570, Epson T50, Canon TS9000 and none work!
I have found a PC that has is still on 1709 and the Cube printer works fine with the 8570/8580 Class driver
So it is definitiely the 1803 update.
Has anyone been able to really resolve this?
Is there a better driver available as Window support says it is up to Xerox.
This is costing my business money. Please help.

I have done that and got this panel.
I noticed a few Xerox options other than Generic but wasn't sure which one to choose, if any.
I Chose the other and saw the port settinffs and IP of the printer was correct ( I checked the printer LED and it is correct 20.88)
I see the SNMP is not enabled. Raw is checked Raw settings Port # 9100
See option Xerox Global Print Driver PS and Xerox GPD PS V4.1.585.13.0. then NEXT
Says Use the driver that is currently installed (recommmended) and Replace current driver. I chose Replace
This printer will be installed with Xerox GPD PS V4.1.585.13.0 NEXT

Print Test Page... A test page has been sent ....
Printer Power saver was on.. Turned on.. 1% etc.... the Ready to Print. but NO PRINT ! Close Panel.
Where did I go wrong please?
The IP address is correct and the LAN is working for other PCs.
In Printers and Scanner (Win 10) It shows that new driver but under it says , Error
I doiuble click Choose Print Test Page and a Win 10 panel comoes on screen and says.. Error printing on Xerox GPD PS V4.1.585.13.0
Checked Printer Panel and it says the Test Page is Printing, then Error.
From other PCs on the LAN it says the printer is offline.
Win 10 Event Viewer says this.. Not sure whether it is relevant. I was not using Adobe PDF.

Your print driver was replaced with an MS class driver and installed via a WSD port, which is notoriously unreliable.
1. Uninstall the printer completely
2. Download this driver
3. Do not pick the printer from the list , pick this option
And then make absolutely certain this is not checked
This will fix the issue now and prevent it from re-occuring in the future with the next big update
Since the update yesterday no PC's could be found on the LAN but after using some suggestions from around the web forums now see the PCS on the wired LAN but still no printers.
The ColorQube 8570 shows as offlinbe but I have tried all the usual things but noithing works.
I sometimes get, The Printer is in an Error state and Printer Status is not available at this time
It is a network and may driver issue.
Is there a new driver required ?
