Hello Jimmy1, 

Software keys are for options that would have been purchased at the same time as the machine.  Unfortunately I am not able to help you with this.  You need to go back to the place of purchase to see if they have record of your original purchase and key.  It sounds like you have already tried this without any luck, I wish I could do more.

Software key required, USB misplaced

Product Name: Other - specify product in post
Operating System: Windows 8.1 x64

We have a Xerox workcentre 5335 at the office which has been opened after several years passed. On trying to operate it and turing it on, it showed a message saying software key required (picture attached). The tray where usb keys from xerox are to be present couldn't be found. It is stuck in that screen when turned on and nothing can be performed on the machine rendering it useless. Is there any way to re-acquire the key or any other mechanism in order to use the machine. We tried contacting the local dealers but they said to contact the supplier from which it is acquired and those supplier's details couldn't be found as well from whoch it was bought. Please help in this regard.
