and its on backorder. Our corporation has a service contract for all xerox devices and yet they can't keep their product running.
Am still waiting on CRU Color Drums. 1st one was backordered 10/7/2021, another 12/28/2021 and 3 more 1/27/2022. Down to 6% on one of my drums with not a thing left to put in it. Going to suck when I can't run my machine anymore.

Xerox does not control how these transport companies move or deliver product. Xerox must rely on transportation vendors for end-to-end delivery. They must also rely on outside vendors to manufacture product. I dont kno what are they trying to say!
Yes, this is a problem everywhere. For parts, supplies, and on multiple products. However, this is not necessarily an issue with the way Xerox conducts business. It is an issue with product transportation vendors and affects many companies.
The word is that there are many ships off the coast of CA that do not have the manpower to unload them. This is just one part of the problem. Xerox does not control how these transport companies move or deliver product. Xerox must rely on transportation vendors for end-to-end delivery. They must also rely on outside vendors to manufacture product. And many of these manufacturing and transportation partners have been affected by manpower shortages due to covid and the government providing financial incentive to workers to stay at home instead of requiring them to work for a living. This is why they cannot give you an estimated ETA. As long as the governement is paying people to stay home, we will see more of this type of issue going foward.
Xerox is also in the process of restructure in many departments and has taken on customers that were previously supported by many smaller companies and processes. This has put a strain on the parts and supply quantities that the company has in stock. And with the manufacturing and transportation delays, it only adds to the delays that the customers see.

yes!!!!!
back orders on just about everything. Even bloodly waste toner containers.
supplies for versants 3100 & 4100 is even worst, not to mention there is a quality issue
with toner and drums.
As to reason, supply chain and quality control issues
Yes, We have multiple orders pending. The oldest is from Aug 23rd, 15 business days ago. The order still lists "no estimated arrival date".
Ordered toner 10 days ago and the order status says "No estimated arrival date available. Request Proof of Delivery" What the heck is that. So much for waiting to order till you need something. Down to my last 50% on my last black toner in the machine.
Anyone else experiencing delays in parts and supplies? Anyone know why?
