Finally about the AirPrint.

No, AirPrint and WiFi is not the same. AirPrint is a technology developed by Apple. With that you can print directly from iOS devices to printers.

The PH3320 doesn't support AirPrint. The ones that will support will be launched soon but are multifunction devices.

You have plenty of iOS apps that can print directly to network printers.

Now about the Airport. All depends what you really want to get from the printer. You have an excellent printer that has WiFi support. Please check this PH3320. Is a B&W printer Letter/A4 size up to 37 ppm. Is a small device, fantastic for small business or home.

You can connect it using the WiFi or a network cable. It supports both PCL and Postscrip, so you can use it on MAC and Windows at the same time.

As far as I know there is no list of abbreviations available for customers, normally there are used by logistics. Anyway, I may be able to help you:

- The first 2 letters is where is defined the model segment:

          - PH is for Phaser segment

          - WC is Work Centre - normally used in multifunction devices.

          - CQ is ColorQube, are our solid ink printers

- Then it comes 4 numbers. This defines the model number. Normally the last 2 is the speed, but is not equal in all models. Ex: the WC7535 is a WorkCentre 75 with 35 ppm. 

- in the last you may see some letters normaly used in printers only and they represent the options:

         - D is Duplex

         - N is for Network

         - T is for additional Trays

         - G and X  are related with Finisher options

Please remember that this may vary from model to model and region to region.

Hi, I have been looking at Xerox printers for a small business. I see each printer model has  letters following the model number, as in d, dn, dt etc. Where can I find a "complete" list of these abbreations and their meaning? There are many.

Also, I have a Apple Airport Extreme router that I will be using, any suggestions as to what black and white laser printer would be best to be used with a setup when a Windows and Apple computer are both going to used, and can utilize the same printer? Use of both either wire and wifi will be used.

Also, is wifi and airprint the same?
