I was able to get back the CentreWare IS page by following the following instructions:
Once you logon to the device from the touch screen choose Device Settings
Next Click Future scroll down and choose Reset UI to Factory Settings
Not sure it it applies to your situation though.
Sorry to Hijack this thread. But I am having the exact same problem on a Xerox 6400X. I was troubleshooting a problem with proxy server, and I changed the HTTP port from 80 to 8080, and now I cannot access the centreware IS. I cannot find a way to reset the settings to default. All I have are enable and disable HTTP on the printer control panel. Please any help would be appreciated.
Hi, I am not sure I am seeing the option to diable 443 and re-enable http 80. I am assuming you mean network settings->Advanced settings. From there, I can only enable or disable HTTP. There's not option to disable HTTPS (port 443).
Am I looking at the right place? Please advise.
After a failed attempt to install a self-signed certificate for SSL, I am no longer able to connect to the CenterWare IS page for our WorkCentre 6400. Is there a way to reset it back to factory default?
