Just checking to see if anyone has an answer for this? I tried calling technical support, but all I get is printer support and nobody seems to know anything about xerox software solutions.
It really shouldn't make a difference. I'd suggest giving a call to Xerox. It does not seem right that it lists it available for Download for 2012 but does not list 2012 in the supported OS's.
I still get the error, i did get more errors about services not installed and I installed what was required
does it make any difference if i'm using a VM?
Have you tried redownloading it? I just setup a brand new 2012 R2 DC and it installed with no issue (after I installed .NET 3.5)
Running it I needed to use Firefox or "Compatability mode" in internet Explorer.
I grabbed This exact file for the install
If you still get the error installing, is there more errors when you close that one? Typically it will toss up errors about serices that are required and are not enabled/installed
I'm trying to install CentreWare Web5_9_Build_5_9_22_EN on a Windows 2012 R2 server and after the wizard start i get a message window "The operating system is not supported. Please refer to the readme file for more information", i've tried with Windows 8 compatibility mode and i got the same message
For now i'm just trying to install CWW so i can manage printers

Is there a message displayed when you try to install CWW?
There are frequently more solutions available when relating issues to printing devices, are there a few specific printers you want tio connect to?
I have the CWW 5.9.22 that is marked as compatible with Windows 2012 R2 but i'm unable to install it even with Windows 8 compatiblity mode
