I'd suggest simple network troubleshooting, check if the printer is connected. Does the nic work? what settings do you have, etc etc.

I lost connectivity and have been trying to reconnect. When I tried to ping the printer, the webpage was unavailable. When checking Windows network diagnostics I get the following error message: "Your computer appears to be correctly configured, but the device or resource (xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx) is not responding. When I try to print a test page, it goes into oblivion--doesn't show up on the spooler.
Prior to this, I had several paper jams, starting first with labels, then envelopes. I have examined the paper flow, and haven't found any remnants (there were no torn areas on paper).
Any suggestions?
