Thanks for the confirmation, Gabiene.

I also reached out to our Xerox rep and he also confirmed non-metered supplies will work in the machine, but didn't mention the metered plan expiration and PIN which is interesting.

I'll order a set of High Capacity Sold toners and see how I get on, if there is an issue I'll reach out to our rep and see if he can provide us with the PIN if required.

One last question - can you mix metered and sold supplies?

The reason I ask is our black toner is at 20% wheras the colours are around 80%.

Thanks!

Hi,

Yes, the metered machines accept sold toner until the metered plan will expire. At that point you will need to contact the Xerox Support Centre to provide a pin for activating sold plan.

The metered supplies are not for sale purpose, they are just for full service agreement, so normally you will not find metered supplies for sale

VersaLink C7025 out of lease - Non Metered Toner

Jump to solution
Product Name: VersaLink C7020/C7025/C7030 Multifunction Printer
Operating System: Windows 10

Hello Community

We have a Xerox VersaLink C7025 that currently has metered toners installed,

The unit is now out of lease with Xerox and we own the unit now.

Can we use non-metered supplies now, or do we still have to purchase metered toner?

Thanks in advance

Lee
