Hello printer_tech_301,

I see no one has responded to this post yet. So, at this point I would recommend contacting your local Xerox Support Department to speak with a Product Specialist for more assistance. Please call 1-800-821-2797.

Thanks,

VersaLink FW version xx.69.xx showing as available on pre-bridge xx.59.xx FW versions

Product Name: VersaLink B400 Printer
Operating System: Not Specified

Normally on VersaLinks, when firmware is available, it will automatically pull up the bridge version (xx.59.xx). However, I have noticed that in the last week or so, there have been devices calling for version xx.69.xx. None of the devices calling for version xx.69.xx had the bridge version installed yet -- they all had firmware lower than xx.59.xx. I am concerned that if users accidentally schedule the update, they risk loading encrypted firmware onto the machines and possibly bricking them. Have there been any bulletins posted by Xerox? Is version xx.69.xx compatible with pre-xx.59.xx bridge FW versions?
